Retreat on prayer with our own Fr. Evan, Fr. Nicholas and Fr. Benedict!
Registration will be $5/adult to cover the cost of the meal.
Retreat Schedule:
4:00pm - Paraklesis
4:45pm - Registration
5:00pm - Session 1
5:45pm - Dinner
6:15pm - Session 2
7:00pm - Session 3
7:45pm - Retreat adjourns
The retreat will be interactive with plenty of time for Q&As.
The first session will discuss what prayer is and isn't, why we pray and what our Church Fathers tell us about prayer. The second session discusses how we begin to pray, how we establish a prayer rule and the role of our Spiritual Father. The last session will look at how prayer is worked out in our real lives and why prayer is so hard.
Each session will have a block of time for questions and discussion.
