2023-2024 Youth Enrichment and All-Youth Registration

Welcome!

Dear families of St. Spyridon,

Thank you for taking the time to register your child (or children) for the 2023-2024 Youth Enrichment and All-Youth Ministry Year!

This year, we are adapting our ministry offerings to fit the growing youth population at St. Spyridon and the obvious need for growing our children in the Faith and truly weaving them into the fabric of our community.

Youth Enrichment at Church:
Pre-K students will meet for two weeks each month in their Special Space.
Kindergarten-Middle School will begin a multi-faceted curriculum each Sunday, most of which will occur outside of the "classroom".
High School will continue to meet building relationships, and also gather with worship and service ministries to see where they might want to plug in.
All parents of children ages 4-13 will need to sign up to attend a Parent Meeting HERE

Youth Enrichment at Home:
Will include a "choose your own adventure" activity each month or season for parents to do with their children that is related to the Youth Enrichment at Church.
101 Lessons in Scripture will be provided (along with three "teacher lessons") if parents and families would like to continue to do this at home with their children.

All-Youth Ministry Offerings for ages 0-18:
Will continue to provide relational and educational opportunies throughout the school year, stay tuned for those event notifications as they apply to your children.

Waiver and Release

As the parent or legal guardian, I have the authority to enter into this Waiver and Release on my child(ren)’s behalf. I hereby release St. Spyridon Orthodox Church (“St. Spyridon”) from any and all liability or claims which may arise while my child(ren) participate in activities at Youth Enrichment or All-Youth Ministry events on or off the premises of St. Spyridon. I understand and acknowledge that this release discharges St. Spyridon from any liability or claim that I may have against St. Spyridon and its employees, agents, officials, and volunteers, with respect to any injury or illness that my child(ren) may sustain, as well as any damage to mine or my child(ren)’s property, or any other claim that may arise from my child(ren)’s participation in the All-Youth Ministry and Youth Enrichment. Medical Treatment: I hereby release and discharge St. Spyridon and its employees, agents, officials, and volunteers, from any claim whatsoever which arises from any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered in connection with any urgent or emergency medical situation while my child(ren) participate in Youth Enrichment and All-Youth Ministry activities. Photographic/Video Release: I grant permission to St. Spyridon to use any and all photographs, videos, or audio recordings of my child(ren) attending all Youth Enrichment or All-Youth Events for the purposes of advertising, promotion, and/or curriculum publication.
