Youth Enrichment and All Youth Ministries Registration 2024-2025

Dear families of St. Spyridon,

Thank you for taking the time to register your child (or children) for 2024-2025 Youth Ministries!

This year, we are adapting our ministry offerings to fit the growing youth population at St. Spyridon and the desire for growing our children in the Faith and weaving them into the fabric of our community.

Youth Enrichment:
3 year olds - 5th Grade: will meet at 8:45am on Sunday mornings, drop off in the gym. 1x/month Kindergarten and older are invited to sit in the front rows for a worship Sunday, and will lead various hymns and prayers. Like last year, our students will have alternating lessons between education, worship, service, and community. The education focus this year will be on the book of Acts.

GOYA - 6th-12th Grade: will meet immediately following Liturgy in the lower classroom. These students will also follow the education, community, worship, and service cycle. The education Sundays will focus on the catechism of our church, community Sundays will provide a monthly off campus outing, and service Sundays will partner with the ministries in our parish. GOYAn's will also meet during Wednesday fellowship nights this fall for a parable study with Fr. Evan and basketball practice.

Little Angels Playgroup (0-4): monthly community meet-ups!

Parent Opportunities

I hereby release St. Spyridon Orthodox Church (“St. Spyridon”) from any and all liability or claims which may arise while my child(ren) participate in All-Youth Ministry activities on the premises of St. Spyridon . I understand and acknowledge that this release discharges St. Spyridon from any liability or claim that I may have against St. Spyridon and its employees, agents, officials, and volunteers, with respect to any injury or illness that my child(ren) may sustain, as well as any damage to mine or my child(ren)’s property, or any other claim that may arise from my child(ren)’s participation in youth events.
